The Standards of Practice define the minimum level of professional performance that audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists are expected to demonstrate to ensure competent, safe and ethical practice. Each registrant of RCASLPNB is accountable for practising in accordance with the Standards of Practice, regardless of role, practice area or practice setting.

Any breach of the Standards of Practice may constitute professional misconduct, as defined in the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Act.
